Ocwen Stalling On Payoff We have been trying for 6 months to pay off Ocwen, 3 months were during the redemption period and they refuse to talk to us.

This whole mess started when my neighbor fell behind in payments on his land. He was turned over to Ocwen for collections. No notice was given to where his loan was and it took over 2 months to find out who had it when his payments were getting rejected. After getting the run around from Ocwen, transferring to different parts of the company and not able to get a hold of anyone we finally got in touch with a person in the redemption office. We requested a payoff quote and received it finally. Upon advice from our lawyer, we sat in his office on the due date and tried to contact Ocwen for transfer of funds and paperwork. They never called back and now a summons was posted on his door with eviction notice. The kicker is that we have tried to pay off the loan, but Ocwen is refusing to even talk to us.At this point we are not sure of what to do.

OCWEN Can not get a manager to discuss short sale. Can not get through to decision makers. Orlando Florida

From: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/313/RipOff0313374.htm

It is impossible to get through to Ocwen to salvage my property. I decided to sell the property in August 2006 and have not been able to find a qualified buyer. Finally I have one with cash on hand and Ocwen is delaying making a decision. Their Indian phone reps continuously transfer me into a vacuum of somekind never to be heard again. I have had to call the company back 5 to 6 times per day from being continuously cut off while waiting to speak with someone in collateral. I need help. I've got a bonafide buyer...help me help you Ocwen. No one calls back. No one knows why I called the day before. Everything starts from scratch. ONe person quotes one acceptable price and the next day the price is changed by the next rep. What is going on? If Ocwen believes having the house go to auction is in its best interest, could someone please tell me just to walk away from the house! I will give up if there is no chance of getting a decision from the company.

I am very sorry for anyone dealing with Ocwen right now

From comments: http://ocwen-complaints.blogspot.com/2008/01/ocwen-loan-servicing-ocwen-loan.html

I am very sorry for anyone dealing with Ocwen right now. I'm a Realtor and working with them on two short sales right now. My experience has been that they have consistently had phone system problems and when you finally get through to the call center in India, nobody can help you. And here's the slap in the face. While you wait on hold incessantly, they ask you to take a customer service survey by calling a toll-free number that doesn't even work!
