Ocwen Ripped us off from the day we were traded or sold to them Orlando Florida
From: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/322/RipOff0322436.htm
This company has from the very beginning ripped us off. We recieve fees and penalties when they are not due. We have interest charges that are so high, we could better afford a much bigger house with someone else. Our other complaints are that there is no way to even talk to anyone about our problems. Every time I call to talk to them they say I have yto send a written request to thier research department. Once I do a couple weeks later I get a letter saying all is well. The bigger kick in the pants is that shortly after I send the request I get another letter saying It is going up again!!! When I pay the total amounts due one month, the next month has several more charges. is there any help????
Thanks Larry Jerome, Missouri U.S.A.

Ocwen help ocwen is ruthless Orlando Florida
From: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/301/RipOff0301624.htm
Started in march of 2007 payment we made was reported late when in fact ocwen posted to another acc. took ten calls and over 40 hours to reach them ocwen fixed it but still posted on our credit that the payment was late. In the months of November and December of '07 we were behind in our payments due to medical reasons this being our first time ever to be late. OCWEN sent a notice of default the 24th of December saying I had to pay the past due amount 1085.06 by January 17, 08 Dec 28, 07 received a letter stating a interest rate freeze if I sent 1110.58 by December 31, 07 which I did by overnight mail. I was all current as I thought when I received a letter January 7, 08 stating ocwen did not received in it there within a specified time frame but they cashed the check and posted it December 31, 07 OCWEN said they were going to send the signed agreement with the check back to me which they have not nor posted to the acc correctly. I was sent four different acct statements with different amounts to pay. I finally got though to them and Ocwen stated they receive nothing and told me that January payment would go to fees that we owed but would not tell me how much. There is much more to the story but I am now trying to work with our fair housing to get results.I would love to be involved in a class action lawsuitRecardotoledo, OhioU.S.A.

OCWEN Mortgage Company Everytime I call I get another loan expert who advises me differently.I finally called and requested an appointment stating I would drive the10 hour required to try to resolve issues. Orlando Florida
*UPDATE *UPDATE ..Wrong ABA number for Ocwen. Called to get a correct one after the bank tried to process. FYI Ocwen's new name is ABA -not really
From: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/294/RipOff0294230.htm
My note was sold to OCWEN Mortgage Company. !) they allege I am not current in my payments. Finally I saw an attorney who got me a copy of my payment history. The bank called me and is getting copies of checks front and back. Hopefully I will have them next week. 2) I called and asked to meet personally one-on-one with them the end of November. they did not show me the courtesy of a call. This means I would have driven 10 hours to keep the appt. but I was willing in order to resolve the mess! 3) When one calls one gets an international who hardly speaks English making it impossible to communicate. 4) I am told by one loan specialist, we will give you a forbearance; how, much can you give us? Not what is rquired. 5) I speak to another loan specialist he states i can't afford a forbearance and there is no need. Just pay by the 14th of the month. when I ask for something in writing I can't get it. 5) The company who sold my contract to OWCEN failed to include taxes (escrow) in my note. One loan specialist tells me they will create an Escrow account. 6) speak to another specialist. He refused to do it because I am not current in my payments. 7) each time one speaks to the company there is another story; another twist - I don't believe them and don't trust themif they reposess my home, they will get $112,000.00 that I put down on it. That is what I call a 'steal' and that is what OCWEN is all about. Their voice mail is to the point of rediculous; they keep you on hold 45 minutes to one hours and then one gets not where with them. They are a terrible company and should be put out of business or investigaged by the proper authorities! What gets me is that they are getting away with it!The U.S. Government is investigating frudulaent, questionable conducts of mortgage companys and financers. Is there is anyone that I can be write to requesting an investigation of OCWEN and their bad possibly bad business practices, lack of knowledgeable personnel and 'their refusal to meet with me one on one' as I requested. In order to pay my taxes current and to bring the 'alleged' back payments up-to-day I am borrowin from my retirement, and You know what, OCWEN does not care. They should be put out of business and should definetely be investigated.I hope other OCWEN customers will add their name to the list - if enough do, something will have to be done.LoisWoodbridge, VirginiaU.S.A.

Ocwen Mortgage Service Deceived by Ocwen Orlando Florida
From:http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/298/RipOff0298379.htm
My friend just lost her home because of lies from ocwen. My friend is 67 years old and lived in her home for 55 years. she had got a loan on her home to pay medical bills. one year later she was in a car wreck which was not her fault. my friend was still working and not retired. she was injured and could not work. well it took 5 months to get any kind of income coming in from disability and one year before the insurance company settled wit her about the wreck. in that period of time she fell behind on her home loan.
she explained to ocwen the problem in september that the insurance company would pay her in december.she was 2 month behind then.she was told that would be ok. but ocwen had already started to forclose on her property. she found this out after she was evicted from her home on december 28 the same day she received her money from the insurance company..she received a letter from the court that her home was going to be foreclosed on so she call ocwen they told her to ignore the letter that everything is ok, well that was a bold face lie. my friend would have went to court to explain her problem but ocwen deceived her and told her not to go.
this is a bad company and something needs to be done. i am trying to help her the best way i can.this was not a fancy home it was just a plain home and needed some repairs my friend has no family she has lost her husband and only son in the last 5 years.she is just a country woman that dont understand all those legal words. she needs help.

Ocwen Federal Bank I believe its a trap to take your home Orlando
From:http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/289/RipOff0289862.htm
I am also in a bind with this company, due to my mother's situation which disallows her to work medically, our income had shorten. I called Ocwen bank prior to hardship and I ask them that there is a finacial difficulty at this time and it would be temporary and if there is a temporary forberance for a short period of time reduce the monthly payment for at least 6-12 months until I can gain better control or the mortgage payment before it came to that point which is now. I was told that the only program they have is for me to purposely miss one month payment and then I will recieve a forberance form from them, fill it out and they will set up a payment plan which would be higher than what I was paying. I told them I dont want to miss a payment and get reported to the credit beauru but it was my only option. I want to get out of this situation. My mother told me she had to deal with them many years ago when another bank sold over to Ocwen and they double her payment and if she missed one, she would automatically lose the house. She still have all those documents and If theres a way out please let me know.Diane rBrooklyn, New YorkU.S.A.

Ocwen - These BASTARDS Have Screwed with the WRONG Schlamozzel!
From: http://www.epinions.com/content_108449861252
ProsAbsolutely without a question there are NONE!
ConsVisious, recalcitrant, monitarily disemboweling bunch of armpit fuzz!
The Bottom LineIf you are looking for a "fast track" to a HEART ATTACK deal with this financial institution. Otherwise, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!
Full Review Hi there,
Schlamozzel here with another "SLUMLORD" nightmare to discuss. What happens when your mortgage gets "sold off" to another service company.
Ocwen Federal Bank
This financial institution is located in Florida. They are a subsidiary of a large financial services corporation, which I consider to be "The Borg" of finance.
My problems began literally the month this company took over servicing a loan I have on an investment property. They failed to properly depict the true and accurate amount of funds held in my escrow account. (This is an account that holds funds for distribution to cities / towns for property taxes, insurance etc.) Upon contacting them at 1 800 74OCWEN you are immediately placed into an automated calling cue where you MUST enter a lot of "numerical" personal information to continue. After doing this the wait is usually between 7 to 25 minutes before the call forwards to something that breaths. When you actually get to a "human being", you must repeat all the same personal information all over again.
Shortly after this occurred, I received a letter with a check in the mail, "We have done an escrow analysis. Based upon our findings, please find enclosed a check in the amount of $1,322.71. This money was overpaid by you."
I call Ocwen Federal Bank's "Marquise deSade" line at 1 800 74OCWEN again, "Why in hell are you sending this money to me? It should have gone to pay my property tax bill!"
"Oh we don't hold escrows for taxes on your account sir."
"Oh yes you do."
"Sir, WE DON'T hold escrows on your property taxes. This is your money, feel free to spend it as you wish."
"Look sweetheart, see on my account how much I'm paying every month?"
"Yes sir..."
"Good! now, if I'm REQUIRED my my loan instrument to pay that amount, and you DON'T hold escrows for taxes, and I HAVE BEEN paying this loan for 2 years, then my PRINCIPAL balance should be much lower, shouldn't it? Well since it isn't and you claim you don't hold escrows for taxes I'd likje you to twll me where the money is. Oh and by the way, since you don't hold escrow money for my tax bill, why does it say that I paid funds to establish the escrow account on the ORIGINAL LOAN DOCUMENTS I signed two years ago?"
"You don't have those documents sir."
(At that very moment, when such an idiotic remark was made I tore my shirt off of my body and could feel the veins in my forehead bounding out of my skin to resemble a topographical map of the Himilayas.)
"Give me your fax number."
"What do you mean..."
"Give me YOUR GODDAMNED FAX NUMBER NOW!
"Sir theres no need for you to speak to me in that manner and (blah blah blah) I don't see the need for you to fax anything..."
"I'm going to send you all the original loan documents you just said I don't have."
After 5 repeat calls the problem was resolved. Or so I thought...
5 months later I got another check with another letter...
This time I wind up going through 3 days of repeated calls to escrow department specialists, managers, supervisors and had to threaten legal action before resolution occurred.
Currently...
Schlamozzel has had enough. Schlamozzel has encountered a very difficult situation with this "bank" recently that has cost nearly $6,400.00 to resolve. Yes, it was Schlamozzel's error that caused the problem. But the problem was resolved according to all the papers from Ocwen Federal Bank's attorneys and Schlamozzel's attorneys.
Schlamozzel received a letter from Ocwen Federal Bank 5 days ago informing him that he owes this "bank" almost $2,600.00. This time Schlamozzel's attorney is bringing the matter to the Massachusetts Commissioner of Banks and Office of the Attorney General.
I will update as soon as more information is available.
Cheers,
Schlamozzel

Owen- Single Mom Loses Out...
Our family believed my mother was getting ready to pay off her house. After 29 years, we believed it was almost time. We learned it was not time. According to OCWEN, we owe tens of thousands more. My mother's 30 year loan has been extended to 45 years somehow. Her health is not well right now and she sees no end in sight to this nightmare. Hopefully it will all work out and and we can get our mom out of this mess.
